Job Description

Job Summary Join our vibrant childcare team as a Daycare Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. In this role, you will support early childhood development by assisting lead teachers in implementing educational activities, supervising playtime, and ensuring the well-being of every child. Your positive energy and proactive approach will contribute to a joyful learning atmosphere that promotes growth, curiosity, and confidence. Duties Assist with daily classroom activities, including arts and crafts, storytime, and educational games that foster childhood development and early learning skills Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety and proper behavior management Support teachers in implementing curriculum plans tailored to preschoolers and toddlers, including infants and children with special needs Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning while adhering to health and safety standards Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed Engage with children in nurturing caregiving activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, and developmental milestones Collaborate with team members to monitor individual progress and communicate effectively with parents about their child's day-to-day experiences Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification or training in first aid and CPR is required or willing to obtain upon hiring Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Strong classroom management skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities Ability to work well within a team environment while maintaining flexibility to meet the needs of children and staff A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth through nurturing care and engaging activities Join us in making a positive impact on young lives! Pay:
$21.65 - $26.07 per hour
