Job Title:
Floating Child Care Teachers Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Floating Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and creating a safe, nurturing environment that fosters their growth and development. This role requires a positive, strong personality and the ability to handle early childhood behaviors in a professional and calm manner.
Responsibilities:
Implement age-appropriate activities to engage children in learning and play Provide essential care for children, including feeding, diapering, and supervising playtime Develop and maintain a daily schedule that promotes physical, emotional, and social development Collaborate with other childcare providers to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment Monitor children's progress and communicate effectively with parents or guardians Support various classrooms as needed, adapting to different age groups and environments
Qualifications:
Previous experience in childcare, preschool, or daycare settings is required High school diploma or GED Ability to acquire or possess a current CPR and First Aid certification Must be able to pass a criminal background check Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adapt to changing classroom needs and maintain a positive attitude
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, no weekends Regular hours: 7:30am to 4:30pm
