We're looking for team members who are passionate about child care, enjoy working as part of a supportive team, and are looking for a long-term opportunity to grow in early childhood education. Work with children from infancy through school age Supportive leadership team that wants you to succeed Ongoing coaching and professional development Opportunities to grow within the company Make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families every day Responsibilities Provide quality child care in a safe, clean, and nurturing environment Support children through age-appropriate learning experiences, play, and daily routines Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers Encourage children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development Assist with meals, diapering, potty training, naps, and classroom transitions as appropriate for each age group Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development What We're Looking For Someone seeking a long-term career in child care Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work collaboratively with children, families, and coworkers Comfortable being active throughout the day Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Preferred Qualifications Child care, daycare, preschool, nanny, or teaching experience preferred Experience working with infants, toddlers, preschool, or school-age children is a plus CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain Food Handler Permit, or willingness to obtain Willingness to complete required child care training About A to Z Building Blocks At A to Z Building Blocks, we believe every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where they can learn, explore, and build confidence.
