Illuminate Learning Academy is seeking a nurturing, energetic, and dedicated Infant/ Toddler Teacher to join our team! •This is a full-time position, must have infant/toddler experience.• At Illuminate, we believe in the power of play, curiosity, and connection. We work hand-in-hand with families to create a joyful, engaging environment where children feel safe, seen, and excited to be here. Our Infant classroom requires an extra measure of individualized care, nurturing, and connection, and we are looking for a candidate who can bring patience, love, and a calming presence to the classroom.
What You'll Do :
Create a warm, welcoming classroom that supports each child's unique growth and developmental timeline Communicate warmly with families and send frequent updates throughout the day Support each infant's individual feeding and nap schedules to maintain a comforting and secure routine Maintain positive interactions with each infant to support connection, early language building, and social-emotional skills Plan and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate activities Collaborate with teammates to maintain a consistent, caring school culture Ensure the classroom is clean, safe, and organized Skills A love for working with children and a heart for teaching Previous experience in early childhood education (strongly preferred) CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood or related field (strongly preferred - if you are working towards one of these, we'd love to meet you!) Strong communication and teamwork skills to engage with children, parents, and our team effectively Dependability, flexibility, and a growth mindset Ready to help little ones shine?
