We provide a warm, nurturing, and culturally rich environment where children feel welcomed, valued, and excited to learn every day. About the Role As a Preschool/Daycare Teacher at Serendipity Multicultural Center, you will play a key role in supporting our young learners in a structured, joyful setting. All curriculum and daily schedules are thoughtfully planned and provided — your focus is on bringing the curriculum to life in meaningful, engaging ways that meet the needs of each child. You'll help foster a fun, inclusive atmosphere that celebrates our diverse community.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement the provided curriculum and follow the daily schedule with creativity and enthusiasm Provide attentive, loving care for children throughout the full day Build positive relationships with children and support their social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development Use Kinder Tales to document daily activities, upload photos, and complete activity reports Complete incident and accident reports as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment Communicate effectively with office staff and families Strictly follow all child care licensing rules, regulations, and Serendipity Multicultural Center policies Help create a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment that reflects and celebrates our multicultural community
Qualifications & Requirements:
A genuine love for children and a warm, patient personality High level of responsibility and reliability Willingness to complete a background check and fingerprinting (required) Open to obtaining and maintaining First Aid, CPR, and CPS certification (training provided or reimbursed) Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues Previous experience in a preschool or daycare setting is a plus, but a passion for working with children is most important This is a full-time position.
