Job Description

The Academy Preschool is seeking an enthusiastic, nurturing, and dependable Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year. We are looking for someone who loves teaching young children, enjoys working as part of a collaborative team , and wants to help create a positive, engaging classroom where children can thrive. Schedule Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9am - 2pm Trainings, planning meetings, orientation, as scheduled School-year position (with potential summer opportunities) Responsibilities Plan and teach engaging preschool lessons using our established curriculum. Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment. Build meaningful relationships with children and their families. Collaborate with fellow teachers and classroom aides. Communicate professionally and positively with families and staff. Adapt lessons and routines to meet the needs of individual children. Support the overall mission and culture of The Academy Preschool. All other responsibilities as assigned $12 - 15 Depending on experience
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
Passionate about early childhood education. Warm, patient, and encouraging. Flexible and able to adapt when plans change. A positive team player who enjoys collaborating with others. Professional, dependable, and organized. Comfortable giving and receiving feedback. Excited to help children learn through play, movement, creativity, and exploration. Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching preschool or early elementary students preferred. Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is welcomed but not required.
