Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Instructor to join our Learning In Motion preschool team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for children. This role involves developing engaging curricula, managing classroom dynamics, and implementing effective teaching strategies to promote student growth and development. This is a part time position for classes held 2-3 days a week, Sept-May. Responsibilities Teach 2 or 3x per week. Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that align with educational standards. Create lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and needs, including special education and early intervention strategies. Manage classroom behavior and maintain a supportive environment conducive to learning. Foster literacy education through interactive activities and assessments. Provide individualized support to students. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to enhance child welfare and development. Maintain a safe and organized classroom setting, promoting effective classroom management practices. Skills Strong background in curriculum development and lesson planning. Experience working with children in various settings, including daycare, preschool, or private schools. Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues. Experience in tutoring or teaching subjects such as literacy, math, or physical education is preferred.
