Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Daycare Teacher, where your enthusiasm and dedication will inspire young minds and foster a nurturing learning environment. In this role, you will create engaging lesson plans, support children's developmental milestones, and promote a safe, inclusive space for toddlers and preschoolers to explore, learn, and grow. Your passion for early childhood education will help lay the foundation for lifelong curiosity and confidence in our youngest learners. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to stimulate cognitive and social development. Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management. Plan and execute daily activities that support childhood development milestones, including early intervention strategies for children with special needs. Manage classroom routines efficiently while maintaining safety standards and fostering a respectful atmosphere. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's progress, behavior, and development needs. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom management techniques, and curriculum development to ensure consistency and excellence in early childhood education. Support children's welfare by monitoring their physical health, emotional well-being, and social interactions during daycare hours. Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings is essential. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies. Experience with curriculum development that includes literacy education, math instruction, and physical activities tailored for toddlers or preschoolers. Familiarity with classroom management tools and techniques to create an organized learning environment. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Knowledge of special education practices or experience working with children with diverse learning needs is a plus. Previous private school or Montessori experience is advantageous but not required; a passion for early childhood education is key.
