Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking passionate and dedicated infant Lead Teachers to inspire and guide young learners in a dynamic educational environment. As a infant Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes growth, curiosity, and confidence. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of engaging lessons aligned with developmental milestones. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while collaborating with a team committed to excellence in early childhood education and special education practices. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans collaborating with the center director, and curriculum needs. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement, behavior management strategies, and tailored interventions. Utilize learning technology and educational tools to enhance student engagement and facilitate interactive learning experiences. Collaborate with specialists such as speech therapists, behavioral therapists, and other professionals to support children with autism, developmental disabilities, or those requiring early intervention services if the need arises. Conduct assessments to monitor progress in meeting developmental milestones and inform instruction. Maintain detailed records of each child's development and progress reports in compliance with center standards. Foster a safe, inclusive environment that promotes child welfare, emotional well-being, and respectful interactions among students. Qualifications Proven classroom management skills with experience working with either infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Skilled in curriculum development, lesson planning, and integrating learning technology into daily activities. Knowledge of childhood development principles, literacy education strategies, and behavior therapy techniques. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and external specialists. Familiar with STEAM curriculum and Montessori methods preferred. Prior experience in daycare settings or private schools is highly desirable; certification in speech therapy or behavioral health is a plus. Education:
Bachelor's Degree, Associate's Degree, 15 college credit hours of child development and/or early childhood education coursework, psychology, or CDA. High School Diploma or GED transcript (Required).
Language:
English (Required)(must be able to speak and understand English), Bilingual is a plus.
Work Location:
In person. US work authorization is required. All candidates are required to do background checks and CPS clearance.
