$13
  • $21 per hour Direct Hire positions with the school Full-Time and Part-Time schedules available Are you passionate about working with young children and helping them learn, grow, and explore the world?
A highly respected preschool in Culpeper, VA . is seeking enthusiastic, caring, and dependable Early Childhood Teachers to join their team. This is a wonderful opportunity for educators who love working with children and want to be part of a supportive school community that values early childhood education.
Available Roles Full-Time Teacher:
working with children 16 months
  • 5 years
Full-Time and Part-Time Building Substitute:
working with children 6 weeks
  • 5 years Full-Time Teachers Monday through Friday 8-hour shifts between 7:00am
  • 6:00pm One-hour lunch break included Part-Time Teachers Monday through Friday 11:00 AM
  • 3:30 PM OR 2:00pm
  • 6:00pm Compensation $13
  • $21 per hour; Compensation depends on education, credentials, and experience in early childhood education.

Responsibilities include:
Supporting a child-centered curriculum that encourages creativity and exploration Maintaining active supervision of children at all times Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues Assisting with diapering and toileting as needed Collaborating with other teachers to support classroom activities Helping ensure a safe and positive school environment What We're Looking For Required High School Diploma or equivalent Experience caring for children age 5 or younger (babysitting, nannying, childcare, or teaching) Preferred CDA or pursuing a CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree (50% of the program completed) Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, Educational Psychology, or related field Experience working in a licensed early childhood education program Additional Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when assisting children Infant teachers must safely lift infants into and out of cribs Must pass required background checks Don't meet every qualification?
