Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Specials Teacher to join our vibrant preschool. In this role, you will work on Wednesdays to offer a music, movement and library "special" on a rotating basis monthly. Ideal candidate is someone who will fit well within our preschool community which is fun-loving, nurturing and which is connected to Living Savior Lutheran Church. Your expertise in curriculum development, behavior management, and child development instruction will help foster a positive learning experience for every student. Job hours are 9 AM to 1:30PM, 1 day per week (Wed). Job runs from Labor Day through Memorial Day yearly. Degree or experience related to teaching, human development or early childhood education required. We follow FCPS schedule with holidays and breaks. Ideal for parents of school aged children. This role is perfect for energetic educators who are willing to lead a basic music class, create a movement class incorporating different gross motor skills and read a book and foster a love of reading where every child can thrive through dedicated teaching and compassionate care.
