Preschool Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate literacy, math, and curriculum development strategies. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping children develop social skills. Engage children in activities that promote early childhood development, including Montessori methods and toddler care techniques. Help with daily routines such as snack time, nap time, diapering, and bathroom assistance to ensure a smooth classroom flow. Foster inclusive learning environments by working effectively with children with disabilities or special needs, including those with autism. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety regulations. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress and classroom activities to build strong partnerships. Experience Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development milestones, and behavior management techniques. Experience with lesson planning, curriculum development, literacy education, and math activities tailored for preschoolers. Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities or special needs, including autism spectrum disorder. Classroom experience involving classroom management strategies and working with diverse groups of children. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and families. Pay:
