Child Care Assistant Teacher (Montessori)

We are looking for an energetic teaching assistant to join our team! In this role, you will support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing both whole-group and small-group instruction while helping create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment. We're looking for someone who is passionate about education, enjoys working with children, and thrives in a collaborative setting. Strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with students, families, and staff are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Lead Teacher in implementing the classroom curriculum Help maintain a positive, respectful, and organized classroom environment Assist in fostering Montessori classroom culture and meeting individual student needs Build respectful relationships with students, families, and staff Communicate effectively with parents Observe and document student progress Monitor daily attendance Attend staff meetings, trainings, and school events Maintain confidentiality of student information

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED (required) Fluent in English (required) CPR and First Aid Certification (required) 18 years of age or older (required) At least 1 year of teaching or assistant experience (preferred) Ability to pass federal and state background checks Strong organizational skills and attention to detail High-energy with a love of working with children Interest in or willingness to learn the

1 position: Monday•Friday, 9:00am•6:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch) 2
