HYRID NANNY + EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER NEEDED
- MECHANICSVILLE, VA We are looking for someone special for a long-term position, ideally for several years , combining childcare and teaching.
Nanny role:
2-3 days/week Helping care for our 3-month-old baby and/or our 2.5- and 5-year-old boys , depending on the day.
Teacher role:
2 days/week Helping lead a small homeschool / nature-based program for ages 2-5 , with a maximum of 6 children . Some days you will work alongside the lead teacher, and other times you may lead the group independently.Weekly schedule:
30-40 hours/week total (we are flexible) 2 teaching days 2-3 nanny days Usually 4-5 working days total We are flexible on the exact nanny days and total number of hours for the right person.Pay:
25 to 30/hour , depending on experience. Strong experience with babies is required. We are looking for someone comfortable with infant routines, feeding, naps, development, and age-appropriate activities, as well as toddlers and preschool-age children. Being comfortable outdoors is very important. We live on a large property, our children love spending a lot of time outside, and the school program is also very nature-centered. About us We are two parents working from home and running our own businesses. We are looking for someone we can rely on to care for our little ones while we work, and who can become a long-term part of our family and school community . We are looking for someone who is reliable, proactive, adaptable, warm, and easy to communicate with . Our schedules and needs can sometimes shift, so being comfortable adapting as a team is important. Household responsibilities are very light — mainly helping with breakfast, cleaning up after the children, and keeping their things organized.Benefits:
