Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves implementing engaging lesson plans that promote literacy education and support the overall growth of our students. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lessons based on the school created scope and sequence. Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Utilize effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere. Assess and document children's progress in various developmental areas, including literacy and social skills. Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children's development and address any concerns. Foster a love for learning through interactive activities and hands-on experiences. Maintain a clean, organized environment that promotes safety and accessibility. Experience Proven experience working with 3 year olds to 12 year olds in a classroom setting. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education. Familiarity with lesson planning techniques tailored for school aged children. Experience in behavior management strategies to effectively address classroom dynamics. Strong communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively. A passion for educating young minds and nurturing their growth in a supportive environment.
