Job Description
Substitute Teacher Forest Hill Child Care Center is looking for caring, dependable, and flexible Substitute Teachers to join our team! If you love working with young children and enjoy a flexible schedule, we'd love to meet you. As a Substitute Teacher, you'll help provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for children from infants through preschool while supporting our classroom teachers and stepping in where you're needed most. What You'll Do Provide attentive supervision and care for children. Support classroom activities, play, meals, diapering/toileting, nap, and daily routines. Engage with children through play, learning activities, books, crafts, and outdoor time. Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom. Follow classroom routines and FHCCC policies. Work alongside our teachers to create a positive experience for every child. Schedule & Availability Part-time, as-needed/on-call No guaranteed minimum hours Flexible scheduling based on your availability and our staffing needs. Opportunities to work with different age groups and classrooms. Shifts may occasionally be offered on short notice when coverage is needed. Once a shift is accepted, substitutes are expected to work the scheduled shift. We're Looking For Someone Who Is Caring, dependable, and punctual. Flexible and comfortable working with different age groups. Energetic and engaged with children. A positive team player who is willing to jump in wherever needed.
