Where your love of teaching is nurtured and supported? Well, your search is over! Come join our small, tight-knit community of families and teachers located in the heart of the Fan! We are looking to add 2 full-time teachers in our Toddler and Preschool classrooms. We promote learning through student-directed discovery, the creative arts, music, and sunshine; and focus on correcting behavior through positive guidance. Tabernacle Child Care Center enrolls children 3 months-5 years of age. We are currently open Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM. We are looking for full-time teachers able to work Monday through Friday, 9:00AM-5:00PM Applicants must be: We are searching for applicants who are dependable, loving, energetic, and have a passion for working with young children! A degree or pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education and/or applicable experience of at least three years is required.
Duties:
Create a classroom environment that is safe, healthy, and nurturing and goes along with the philosophy and goals of our program. Help and support children socially and emotionally through positive guidance. Lesson-planning weekly using the STREAMin3 Curriculum and using your own creativity to provide lesson enhancements where necessary. Collaborating with fellow teachers with our STREAMin3 Curriculum. Changing diapers and clothes as needed. Build positive relationships with families and provide information about a child's day. Perform routine cleaning and disinfecting as needed. Act as a team player as you work closely with fellow staff members. Abide by All cleaning procedures to ensure staff and students remain safe.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 2 years of childcare experience in a Lead role Lesson-planning experience Previous experience with lesson planning and classroom management
High School Diploma Preferred Qualifications:
Degree or pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field 3+ years of childcare experience CDA CPR/First Aid Certification MAT Certification Position would start as soon as possible. Please apply via Indeed to be considered and interviewed for the position.
