Job Description

We are looking for an interactive, energetic, compassionate teacher to join our Infant Classroom. You must be able to engage with infants/toddlers, maintain schedules, work well with colleagues and help create a positive learning environment. We are locally owned and have been nurturing children for over 40 years.
Duties :
  • Provide a safe and engaging learning environment
  • Create and implement developmental appropriate activities
  • Help promote the development of each child within the classroom
  • Maintain schedules throughout the day
  • Be able to communicate well with parents and other staff members
  • Record daily activities and information about each child
  • Work well with colleagues
  • Maintain personal hygiene and appropriate work attire according to the employee handbook
  • Follow all standards for licensing as outlined by the
Department of Social Service Requirements:
  • At least 2 years experience working with infants/toddlers
  • Strong oral communication skills
  • Have developmental knowledge of infants/toddlers
  • Willingness to be trained
  • Be prompt
  • Must clear a background check and pass a health screening Nice to
Haves:
  • Early childhood certifications
  • MAT training, CPR/First Aid
