Duties Lead and facilitate a variety of camp activities including sports, arts and crafts, theater, and outdoor adventures to ensure campers are engaged and entertained. Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement strategies, ensuring a respectful and safe environment for all children. Provide first aid when necessary, following proper protocols to address minor injuries or health concerns promptly. Support children with special education needs by adapting activities and providing personalized assistance to promote inclusion. Foster teamwork and social skills through group activities, encouraging cooperation and communication among campers. Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding camper progress and daily updates. Uphold safety standards by supervising campers at all times, conducting regular safety checks, and adhering to camp policies. Skills Strong classroom management skills to maintain order while encouraging creativity and independence. Experience in first aid certification to handle minor injuries confidently and responsibly. Knowledge of special education practices to support diverse learning needs effectively. Proven ability in teaching or tutoring children across various age groups with patience and enthusiasm. Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, or camp environments. Familiarity with child development principles to tailor activities that promote growth at different stages. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members professionally. Ability to manage behavior effectively using positive discipline techniques.
