Join Our Team Williamsburg Campus Child Care (WCCC) is a nonprofit early childhood education center located on the beautiful campus of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Since 1992, WCCC has provided high-quality care and education for young children at the Sarah Ives Gore Child Care Center. As an independent 501(c)(3) organization, we are committed to fostering a nurturing, engaging, and enriching environment where children, families, and educators thrive. Our participation in Virginia's VQB5 quality improvement system, licensing through the Commonwealth of Virginia, and involvement in the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program reflect our dedication to excellence. Position Overview WCCC is seeking enthusiastic, caring, and dedicated individuals to join our team as full-time, year-round Flex Teachers. Successful candidates will be comfortable working with children across all age groups, from infants through Pre-K, and will be passionate about supporting young children's growth, learning, and development. We offer:

What You'll Do Flex Teachers play an essential role in creating a safe, engaging, and joyful learning environment for children.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting children's learning and development through play and exploration Participating in individual, small-group, and large-group activities Reading stories, facilitating art experiences, and encouraging imaginative play Helping maintain a clean, healthy, and organized classroom environment Supporting daily routines, transitions, and supervision of children Promoting positive social-emotional development Collaborating with teaching teams to provide high-quality care and education One day may involve helping a toddler discover a new favorite book, while another might include leading a dance party, exploring nature, or supporting a hands-on learning experience inspired by the rich history and surroundings of Williamsburg.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
Child Development Associate (CDA) credential Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or a related field Current enrollment in a related degree or credentialing program
Additional Requirements:
Successful completion of all required background checks prior to employment Current Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire Documentation of a negative tuberculosis screening How to Apply Ready to make a difference in the lives of young children?
