Licenses and Certifications:
CCC/AED certification is required within two months of hire. Must be a minimum of 16 years of age. Tell me more….. The City of Peoria's Neighborhood and Human Services department is hiring for their Little Learners Program, located at Sunrise Family Center. This program is licensed by the Department of Health Services for students ages 3 to 5. This is an excellent opportunity for a childcare provider to collaborate with school personnel to develop a growing program. You will supervise and monitor children in your care by actively participating with them through play and staff led enrichment, such as literacy, arts and crafts, and STEAM projects. If you have a passion for working with children, this job is for you! The ideal candidate for this position will have: Will be a results-oriented, people person who is 16 years or older, and loves working with children Can implement the execution of an activity, event or program with some direction Will supervise and monitor children in your care by actively participating with them Enjoys fast-paced schedule and the opportunity to make a difference ALL employees are required to work the July 4th Special Event in the summer.
