Lead Walking Infant Teacher Potter's House School is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Lead Walking Infant Teacher to join our growing early childhood team. At Potter's House School, we believe children learn best through loving relationships, hands-on exploration, and meaningful play. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about creating a safe, joyful environment where our youngest learners can build confidence, discover the world around them, and thrive each day. Position Responsibilities Create and maintain a warm, nurturing, and engaging classroom for walking infants. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences. Foster children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Build strong, trusting relationships with children and their families. Communicate daily with parents about their child's growth, milestones, and experiences. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom that meets all Vermont licensing requirements. Lead the classroom with professionalism while collaborating with fellow teachers and school staff. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field preferred, or currently working toward completion of a bachelor's degree. Experience working with infants or toddlers in a licensed early childhood setting preferred. Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices. Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
