Job Description

Summary Little Roots Learning LLC is seeking a caring, dependable, and nurturing Part-Time Infant Teacher to join our infant team. This position works alongside the Lead Teacher and Assistant Teacher to provide a safe, engaging, and responsive environment for infants ages 6 weeks to 18 months. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children, is a team player, and is committed to supporting each child's growth and development. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist the Lead and Assistant Teachers with daily classroom routines and activities. Help provide a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for infants. Support age-appropriate developmental activities, including sensory play, tummy time, music, reading, and exploration. Assist with feeding, diapering, and maintaining infant care schedules. Help monitor and document children's daily activities, including meals, naps, and diaper changes. Maintain classroom cleanliness by sanitizing toys, equipment, and learning materials. Support smooth transitions throughout the day and help maintain classroom routines. Comfort and respond to infants' individual needs in a warm and responsive manner. Work collaboratively with classroom staff to ensure licensing regulations and program policies are followed. Communicate professionally and respectfully with families and coworkers. Assist with outdoor activities and walks when appropriate. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience working with infants or young children preferred. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and engage in active caregiving duties. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to pass required background checks and meet state childcare licensing requirements. CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
