You'll:
Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum and lesson plans Lead and mentor Assistant Teachers, substitutes, and classroom volunteers Foster a positive, inclusive classroom using positive guidance and behavior support Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging learning environment Build strong partnerships with families through ongoing communication Complete classroom documentation, monthly reports, and parent board updates Ensure compliance with Vermont State Licensing Regulations and program policies Maintain CPR/First Aid certification and complete required professional development Verify authorized child pick-ups and promote a safe environment for every child What We're Looking For You're someone who: Has a genuine passion for working with young children Enjoys leading a classroom while supporting and mentoring teammates Brings energy, patience, creativity, and professionalism each day Builds trusting relationships with children, families, and coworkers Is dependable, organized, and committed to providing high-quality early education Qualifications Applicants must meet one of the following Vermont Early Childhood Education requirements: Level III on the Vermont Early Childhood Career Ladder Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Development, Elementary Education, or Child & Family Services with at least 12 months of experience Certificate of Completion from the Apprenticeship Program CCV Child Care Certificate with at least 12 months of experience Successful completion of 21 college credits with an early childhood or school-age focus and at least 12 months of experience
Additional Requirements:
