Job Description
KinderCare is seeking Teachers for our Auburn center to nurture and inspire young children through play-based learning. In this on-site role, you will create safe, engaging classrooms, support social, emotional, and cognitive growth, and build strong relationships with families. Collaborating with a supportive team, you will implement developmentally appropriate activities, document progress, and uphold health and safety standards. Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based learning activities Ensure children's safety, supervision, and wellbeing at all times Support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment Communicate regularly with families about child progress Collaborate with teaching team and center leadership Document observations and learning outcomes Follow center policies, licensing, and health/safety regulations Required Skills Early childhood classroom management Lesson planning for early learners Child development knowledge (infant-pre-K) Health, safety, and hygiene procedures Observation and documentation of child progress Parent and family communication Behavior guidance and positive discipline First Aid and CPR procedures Collaboration in a childcare/center setting Regulatory and licensing compliance
