Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and the ability to engage with children in a meaningful way. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children's curiosity and creativity. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regarding their development. Facilitate daily activities that support physical, emotional, and social growth, including arts and crafts, storytelling, and outdoor play. Maintain classroom management by establishing clear rules and expectations while promoting positive behavior among students. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to support each child's individual needs. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of early childhood education. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Strong classroom management skills to create an effective learning environment. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. A genuine passion for working with young children and fostering their growth through caregiving activities. 30 hours of STARS training is preferred. Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field 30 hours of STARS training First aid certification Join us in making a positive impact on the lives of young learners!
