Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support the development and well-being of young children by assisting lead teachers in creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging learning environment. Responsibilities Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development and learning. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Assist with classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and stimulating environment conducive to learning. Engage children in developmental activities that encourage social interaction, creativity, and curiosity. Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to ensure a secure environment for children. Support children with diapering, feeding, nap routines, and other caregiving needs as directed by lead staff. Requirements Prior experience working with young children in preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively through positive guidance techniques.
