Full Job Description Now Hiring:
Childcare Assistant for Licensed In-Home Daycare Do you love working with young children and want to be part of a warm, family-focused environment? We're looking for a dependable, caring, and energetic Childcare Assistant to join our licensed in-home daycare. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys helping children learn through play while building meaningful relationships with families. Responsibilities
  • Provide nurturing, attentive care for infants and young children in a licensed in-home childcare setting.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times.
  • Assist with daily routines, including meals, diapering/toileting, naps, and outdoor play.
  • Engage children in age-appropriate learning activities, arts and crafts, music, reading, and imaginative play.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in accordance with Washington State licensing requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with the provider to create a positive, respectful atmosphere for children and families. Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be able to pass a Washington State DCYF background check.
  • Must complete all required DCYF training and meet licensing requirements (or be willing to complete them within required timelines).
  • Current CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens certification is preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively participate in all aspects of childcare. Looking for Someone Who Is
