The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards while catering to the diverse needs of all students. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, math, and physical education. Create lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods, including Montessori techniques. Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration. Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students. Provide individualized support to children with special needs through early intervention strategies. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and development. Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all students. Ensure compliance with child welfare regulations and maintain a clean, organized classroom. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored for preschool-aged children. Proficiency in behavior management techniques to support diverse learning needs. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff. Background in early childhood education with specific experience in preschool settings. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures as they relate to early learners. Ability to provide tutoring support in literacy, math, and other subjects as needed. Experience in toddler care and daycare environments is preferred.
