Lead Preschool Teacher

Kiddie Academy of Lacey has an exciting opportunity for an energetic, optimistic, and inspiring educator to join us as a Lead Teacher. You'll bring a creative touch and caring attitude to our passionate team of child care professionals who make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in our community every day. At Kiddie Academy we strongly believe that the bonds children (and their families) create with their teachers are extremely important and crucial to their overall development. Children need consistency and stability. With that in mind we seek to hire long term employees. We are most interested in interviewing candidates whose resumes show dedication and longevity (at least 1 year) with previous employers. We are willing to train if you are willing to be committed to our children and families.

Responsibilities:

Lead Teachers are responsible for the daily planning, management, and supervision of the classroom and children. Our Lead Teachers also ensure that all parents, children, and classroom staff concerns are appropriately addressed.

Qualifications:

1 year of teaching experience required (assistant experience included) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong customer service mindset Coachable Candidates with experience and/or a degree or CDA in ECE will be a strong plus Our benefits package for full-time employees include: Competitive wages, $100 bonus for each year of service ($100 after 1 year, $200 after 2 years, etc.), paid training, paid time off including holidays, vacation and sick time, IRA with company matching, child care discount, paid CDA training program, ongoing professional development, and college scholarships through the Early Achievers Program.
