Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Early Childhood Music Teacher to inspire young learners through the joy of music and the arts. In this role, you will create a vibrant, engaging environment where children can explore their musical talents, develop their creativity, and build foundational skills in early childhood education. Your enthusiasm for teaching arts, combined with your ability to manage a classroom and connect with young children, will foster a love for learning that lasts a lifetime. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that integrate music, dance, theater, visual arts, and creative expression tailored for early childhood learners Lead engaging classroom activities that promote musical instrument exploration, singing, dancing, choreography, and performance arts Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment that encourages participation and creativity Incorporate various artistic disciplines such as ballet, theater, photography, sewing, cooking, and culinary arts into lessons to enhance holistic development Use age-appropriate teaching methods to support childhood development milestones and special education needs when applicable Foster a safe space for children to experiment with movement, instruments, visual arts projects, and theatrical performances Collaborate with parents and caregivers to communicate student progress and encourage ongoing artistic exploration at home Experience Proven experience working with children in early childhood or preschool settings Demonstrated expertise in teaching visual & performing arts including music, dance (ballet), theater, choreography, and instrumental performance Strong background in curriculum development for youth programs focused on creative arts instruction Experience managing classrooms with effective behavior management strategies Knowledge of childhood development principles and special education accommodations when necessary Skills in lesson planning across multiple artistic disciplines such as sewing, photography, cooking, culinary arts, or other creative fields are highly valued Prior experience teaching arts in a preschool or early elementary environment is preferred Join us as an Early Childhood Music Teacher and ignite the artistic spirit within each child!
