Classroom Teacher Bright Bean Play Cafe Lynnwood, WA Job Details Part-time From $25 an hour 14 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Interactive activities lessons (early childhood general education) Early Childhood Education Full Job Description Bright Bean Play Café is a new indoor play café opening in Lynnwood, WA, designed for young children and their grown-ups to play, learn, and connect. We're looking for a warm, energetic Classroom Teacher to lead engaging, play-based classes for children primarily ages 1-6. This is a great fit for someone with experience in early childhood education who loves working with young children but is looking for a fun, creative environment outside of a traditional childcare setting. Our classes are designed to encourage learning through play, movement, creativity, and hands-on activities. What You'll Do Lead engaging, age-appropriate play and learning classes Create a warm, positive and welcoming classroom environment Prepare simple activities, crafts and lesson materials Guide children through structured activities, songs, stories and play Encourage social, emotional and developmental skills through play Set up and clean up the classroom before and after classes Communicate warmly and professionally with parents and caregivers What We're Looking For Experience working with young children, preferably in early childhood education, preschool, childcare, camps, children's programs or a similar setting Comfortable confidently leading groups of young children Energetic, patient, dependable and positive Strong communication skills Creative and comfortable adapting activities based on the age and needs of the group Ability to work independently while also being part of the Bright Bean team Schedule This is a part-time position with classes offered throughout the week. We're especially interested in candidates with some weekday morning and/or afternoon availability. Exact schedule and number of hours can be discussed based on availability and our class schedule. Specialty Instructors We are also hiring specialty instructors to lead classes in areas such as: Art Spanish Music & Movement STEM If you have experience or a special skill in one of these areas, please mention it when applying! About Bright Bean Bright Bean Play Café is a new play café in Lynnwood created for families with young children. Our space combines imaginative indoor play, enrichment classes, birthday parties and a café for parents and caregivers.
