Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Summer Camp Assistant Teachers. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children while creating a fun and engaging camp experience. This is a paid position. Part-time and full-time shifts. Pay $24 per hour. Starts June 8th (This is somewhat flexible)

Responsibilities:

• Provide supervision and ensure the safety of campers at all times
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment for campers to learn and grow
• Collaborate with other teachers to create a well-rounded camp experience
• Manage behavior and maintain discipline among campers
• Assist with meal times, ensuring campers are following proper etiquette
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom

Experience:

• Previous experience working with children in a camp, daycare, or classroom setting
• Experience coaching sports or leading recreational activities
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
• Ability to educate and engage campers in age-appropriate activities
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with campers, parents, and staff members
• Ability to handle challenging situations with patience and professionalism
• CPR and First Aid certification
