Job Description

Lead Preschool Teacher (Ages 2½-3½) Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:15 AM-5:15 PM City Kids Country Cabin Preschool is looking for a caring, energetic, and dependable Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team! This position works with children ages 2½-3½ years old in a fun, play-based classroom environment focused on learning, social development, and kindergarten readiness.
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum. Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. Maintain positive communication with families regarding their child's progress. Supervise children during indoor play, outdoor play, meals, and rest time. Ensure licensing regulations and center policies are followed. Work closely with fellow teachers and administration to maintain a positive team environment. Assist with potty training and encourage independence skills.
Qualifications:
Experience working with young children preferred. Must meet Washington State childcare licensing requirements. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a team. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Passion for early childhood education. Why Join Us?
