Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment tailored specifically for infants. Your enthusiasm and expertise will support the developmental milestones of our youngest learners, fostering their growth through engaging activities, attentive caregiving, and positive interactions. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum activities that promote early childhood development and learning in infants Provide attentive infant care by feeding, diapering, soothing, and ensuring their safety at all times Monitor and document each child's developmental progress, behaviors, and milestones to inform personalized care plans Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate daily updates on their child's well-being and developmental achievements Manage classroom routines effectively, including nap times, play sessions, and learning activities to foster consistency and security Apply first aid procedures promptly when necessary and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Skills Proven experience in infant care, preschool or daycare settings with classroom management skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers Ability to work effectively with children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or working with individuals with disabilities Excellent caregiving skills combined with patience, compassion, and positive behavior management techniques Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or early childhood education are a plus Familiarity with classroom experience in daycare environments or nannying/babysitting roles involving infants Effective communication skills for collaborating with parents, team members, and caregivers to support each child's growth Flexible work hours- 12-5 each day, some days will be all day if sick staff Merit account will be required and background check through DCYF before start date Must SHOW UP each day Join us as an Infant Teacher to inspire curiosity, foster independence, and nurture the earliest stages of childhood development. Pay:
$17.25 - $18.00 per hour
