Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a lead educator in our faith based preschool, where your passion for nurturing young minds will inspire a love of learning from the very start. In this dynamic role, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for children in preschool settings. Your expertise in childhood development, curriculum development, and classroom management will help shape the foundational skills of our youngest learners. We are committed to fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional growth. Duties Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and learning technology to support holistic development. Develop and adapt curriculum to meet the diverse needs of children, including those with disabilities or special education requirements. Manage classroom activities to promote positive behavior management and conflict resolution among children. Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and instructional design principles to track progress and enhance instructional strategies. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional strategies, and educational assessments. Foster effective communication with parents and guardians through regular updates on child progress and developmental milestones. Incorporate teaching philosophies to enrich the learning experience for preschoolers and toddlers. Qualifications Proven classroom experience working with young children in early childhood education settings such as preschools or childcare centers. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, including toddler care and preschool education best practices. Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and integrating learning technology tools. Familiarity with special education needs and working with individuals with disabilities to support inclusive classrooms. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively. Demonstrated ability in classroom management, behavior management, and conflict resolution techniques.
