Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team! In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will support their developmental milestones, foster positive behavior, and ensure each child's needs are met with care and professionalism. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while gaining valuable experience in childcare and early childhood education. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily activities that promote childhood development, including preschool, toddler, and infant care programs Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, organized, and stimulating environment for children of various ages Engage children in age-appropriate play, learning activities, and social interactions to encourage growth and curiosity Provide basic caregiving tasks such as diapering, feeding, and comforting children as needed Support behavior management strategies to foster positive conduct and emotional well-being Help monitor children's progress and communicate observations to the teaching team Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary Experience Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar environments is highly desirable Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Experience with classroom experience or managing groups of young children effectively Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Certification in first aid and CPR , Blood Borne Pathogen, other additional trainings, and a High School Diploma or GED is
REQUIRED.
Demonstrated ability to handle toddler care and infant care routines with patience and compassion Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and engaging positively with children and parents Bilingual ( English/ Spanish ) Speaking is preferred, but not required Join us in creating a joyful learning space where children thrive! Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
