WHAT YOU WILL LOVE TO DO
Run an inspiring, well-kept classroom that encourages creativity, exploration and decision-making by the children Provide supervision and daily functions for the class following the Kiddie Academy policies and WA state guidelines (WAC) Partner well with co-teacher in implementing our Life Essentials curriculum and nationally accredited program (NAEYC) Help children with their nutrition and hygiene needs Assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis Conduct parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations
YOU ARE A GREAT FIT IF YOU HAVE
Passion for inspiring and caring for children Pleasant/friendly demeanor and great communicator with parents Very reliable attendance Physical ability to work with children at eye level and lift them (upto 40lbs) as necessary to meet their safety and hygiene needs Well organized and planned for running classroom with a co-teacher Must meet Washington State requirements (Background check, STARS, CPR/First Aid). If you meet Oregon requirements, we can assist you in the process for Washington.
