Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Preschool Lead Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will inspire a love of learning and support healthy development. In this dynamic role, you will lead classroom activities, develop engaging curricula, and foster a safe, inclusive environment that encourages curiosity and growth. Your expertise in early childhood education will empower children to reach their full potential while building strong relationships with families and colleagues. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the foundational years of a child's educational journey. Duties Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods Lead daily classroom activities that promote social-emotional growth, behavior management, and childhood development milestones Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address concerns, and support individual needs such as special education or early intervention strategies Manage classroom environment to ensure safety, cleanliness, and organization in accordance with childcare regulations and best practices Utilize classroom management techniques to foster positive behavior and create an inclusive atmosphere for children of diverse backgrounds and abilities Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor developmental progress and inform instructional planning Supervise assistant teachers and student interns, providing mentorship and guidance to uphold high-quality preschool experience Experience Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating strong classroom management skills Knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention techniques, and special education accommodations Proven ability to develop engaging curricula that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical activities, and Montessori approaches Experience in classroom experience with toddlers or preschool-aged children preferred Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and community partners Familiarity with child welfare standards, behavior management strategies, and teaching physical education is a plus Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable Embark on a rewarding journey where your dedication transforms young lives! Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
