Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and team playing Child Care Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster developmental growth, social skills, and a love for learning among our students. Qualifications:
Meet at least one of the following qualifications: At least 18 years of age and satisfactorily completed 2 credits in early childhood education or its equivalent within 6 months after assuming the position At least 18 years of age and have satisfactorily completed one, non-credit department-approved course in early childhood education within 6 months after assuming the position. At least 17 years of age and have satisfactorily completed an assistant child care teacher training program approved by the Wisconsin department of public instruction, 2 credits in early childhood education or its equivalent, or a noncredit department-approved course in early childhood education Be physically, mentally, and emotionally able to provide responsible care for all children including children with disabilities
Duties:
Assist the lead teacher Successfully complete necessary trainings Attend staff meetings Assisting lead teacher to prepare classroom activities Assist with center needs Assisting with various duties including but not limited to dishes and cleaning, and meal/snack prep (meet training requirements ) When fully meeting training requirements, may be the staff person in charge for first to or last two hours of the day Join us to inspire the next generation of learners! $16.00 per hour
