A wonderful, kind-hearted family based in Kaukauna, WI is seeking to find a part-time childcare provider for their 13-year-old son who has ADHD, Anxiety, and autism with respite care. This family is just seeking someone who can help as needed with their son with in-home care activities. This child is very bright, smart, energetic, and does have some de-escalation tactics. This is not an agency. You would get hired by the client under self-direction. This is a pet-friendly home

School Hours:
  • 2:45 PM
  • 7:00 PM
  • Monday-Friday (Flexible, no set schedule)
  • Weekend Care Summer Hours:
  • Monday-Friday (Flexible, no set schedule)
  • Weekend Care Pay:
  • $17.97/Hour
  • Mileage pay offered
Tasks:
Meal Preparation Snack Preparation Assist with mentoring personal care tasks Provide 1:1 supervision Provide Transportation (after-school pickup, possibly out-of-home activities) Offer emotional support Engage in de-escalation tactics as needed Light housekeeping (Just related to the child)
Family Requirements:
Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle. Able to pass a Wisconsin background check Experience working with adults or children with complex needs ( Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, Autism, ADHD, ODD, Etc. ) Proven dependability Committed to providing care for children and adults with special needs. Someone who can understand de-escalation
Pay:
From $17.97 per hour
