Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Provide attentive care during daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and outdoor play to ensure safety and comfort. Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care to promote inclusion and participation. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence among children. Monitor behavior using positive guidance techniques to promote respectful interactions and emotional regulation. Collaborate with parents and guardians through regular updates on their child's progress and any concerns that arise. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations by maintaining current first aid certifications and adhering to childcare standards. Qualifications Prior experience in early childhood education, daycare settings, babysitting, nannying, or classroom environments is highly desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to work flexibly in dynamic environments while maintaining patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism. Experience caring for infants through preschool-aged children with a focus on nurturing their growth through engaging activities such as toddler care and infant care. Familiarity with classroom experience including implementing educational curricula aligned with early childhood education standards.
