Infant Teacher Magical Beginnings Learning Academy is urgently hiring a Certified Infant Teacher (EEC Certified) for our infant and toddler program in Middleton, MA (225 Maple Street) . If you're an experienced infant teacher, infant/toddler teacher, or early childhood educator who loves the 6 weeks-15 months age group, we'd love to meet you. At Magical Beginnings, we believe exceptional early childhood education begins with exceptional educators. As an Infant Teacher, you'll provide warm, responsive, and nurturing care during some of the most critical months of a child's development — building trust, security, and the foundation for lifelong learning. You'll build lasting relationships with children and families while working alongside experienced educators committed to collaboration, continuous learning, and providing the highest quality early education. You'll thrive in this role if: You bring a calm, gentle, and nurturing presence to everything you do You're attentive to even the smallest cues and changes in an infant's needs You find joy in the everyday moments — feedings, naps, tummy time, first steps You're patient, warm, and comfortable building trust with both babies and their families You take pride in creating a consistent, secure routine for the children in your care You value close, honest communication with parents about their child's day Some requirements of the role include: Flexibility to work an 8-hour shift within the operating hours of the school, including opening and closing shifts Ability to spend extended periods of time on the floor with the children Ability to lift up to 50lbs Ability to stand up to 90% of the workday Attentiveness, strong time management, and a team-focused mindset As an Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for: Collaborating with your co-teacher to prepare curriculum, lesson plans, and materials Providing responsive, individualized care that supports each infant's development through gentle, age-appropriate activities Keeping parents informed and building positive relationships with children and families Maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly classroom environment Assisting with daily routines, including bottles, meals, diapering, and naptime, tailored to each infant's individual feeding and sleeping schedule Tracking children's progress and completing required assessments Maintaining your EEC-required professional development hours and PQ registry Helping infants build a sense of security, trust, and early communication skills What Magical Beginnings offers you: Paid sick time 14 paid holidays
