In this role, you will support the development and well-being of young children by assisting lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a love of learning, promote social-emotional growth, and support each child's individual needs. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum focused on early childhood education, literacy, math, and social skills development Support children's emotional and behavioral needs through positive behavior management and mentoring techniques Engage children in interactive activities that promote childhood development, including Montessori methods and sensory play Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate effectively with children, colleagues, and parents to ensure a cohesive educational experience Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized assistance Participate in classroom management duties such as supervising activities, managing transitions, and ensuring safety protocols are followed Requirements Prior experience working with children in classroom settings or childcare environments is highly preferred Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including childhood development milestones and behavior management strategies Familiarity with special education practices, working with individuals with autism or disabilities is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members Ability to multitask and manage classroom activities with patience and enthusiasm Experience with tutoring or literacy education to support reading readiness and language skills Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields is advantageous; Montessori or private school experience is a bonus Join us in shaping young minds!
