Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, with experience in developing and implementing engaging curricula for young learners. This role involves leading a classroom environment that fosters growth, creativity, and learning for children, including those with special needs. The Lead Teacher will work collaboratively with staff and families to support the diverse needs of all students. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment for all students, including those with autism and special education needs.
- Guide and support teaching assistants and other staff members in delivering high-quality instruction.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and development.
- Foster positive relationships with children through engaging activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom space conducive to learning.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices. Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a preschool or early childhood setting.
- Knowledge of Montessori methods is a plus.
- Experience in curriculum development tailored to diverse learning styles.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Familiarity with strategies for working with children on the autism spectrum or those requiring special education support.
- Ability to provide toddler care as needed within the classroom setting.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that respects diversity in all forms.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$15.00- $18.
