Job Description
Lead Childcare Educator The Saints of the Most High Learning Academy is seeking a dependable, nurturing, and experienced Lead Childcare Educator to join our faith-based early learning program. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children, demonstrates strong leadership, works well as part of a team, and can create a safe, structured, loving, and engaging classroom environment. Qualifications Wisconsin Registry Level 12 or higher preferred Bachelor's degree preferred in Early Childhood Education, Education, Child Development, or a related field Must meet or be able to meet Wisconsin DCF 251 Lead Child Care Teacher qualifications Previous experience working in a licensed childcare or early childhood education setting preferred Strong classroom management and leadership skills Ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team Dependable, punctual, professional, and organized Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, coworkers, and administration Must be able to successfully complete all required background checks and required trainings Responsibilities Lead and manage the classroom while maintaining a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment Plan and implement age-appropriate training, educational activities, and curriculum Support children's social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and spiritual development Maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios and active supervision Follow Wisconsin DCF 251 licensing requirements and center policies Maintain accurate classroom records and required documentation Communicate professionally with parents regarding children's daily experiences and development Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and sanitation Provide guidance and direction to assistant educators and classroom support staff Work collaboratively with fellow staff members and administration to support the needs of the program Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and required training Model professionalism, patience, kindness, and positive interactions with children Our Environment The Saints of the Most High Learning Academy is a Christian, faith-centered childcare program. Our program incorporates prayer, Bible lessons, praise and worship, and Christian principles into children's daily learning experiences. Applicants should be comfortable working within and supporting our program's faith-based environment.
