Duties Support preschool teacher in implementing curriculum plans focused on literacy, math, and overall childhood development. Assist with classroom activities that promote social-emotional skills, behavior management, and positive interactions among children. Work closely with children to support their individual needs, including those requiring special education or behavioral mentoring. Help create an inclusive classroom environment by adapting activities for children with disabilities or autism. Manage classroom routines such as snack time, circle time, and transitions to ensure smooth daily operations. Provide one-on-one tutoring or mentoring to students who need additional support in literacy or math skills. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and staff about developmental milestones. Skills Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development best practices. Experience working with children in classroom settings, including private school or Montessori environments preferred. Familiarity with special education strategies, behavior management techniques, and working with individuals with disabilities or autism. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and students alike. Proven classroom management skills to maintain a safe, engaging learning environment.
