Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Child Care Assistant Teacher! In this dynamic role, you will play a vital part in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help promote healthy development, support individual needs, and inspire a love for learning. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure safety and engagement Support children with their daily routines, including meal times, diapering, and nap schedules Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and needs Follow all mandated reporting laws to ensure children's safety and well-being are prioritized at all times Support classroom management strategies to foster positive behavior and social skills among children Skills Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings not required. We will train the right candidate. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Ability to work effectively with children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or additional support Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies Experience working with infants, toddlers, or children with disabilities is highly valued Knowledge of mandated reporting laws to ensure compliance with child safety regulations Join us in creating a joyful learning environment where every child feels valued and supported!
