Job Description
Overview Join our dedicated team as a Child Care Assistant specializing in infant care! In this vital role, you will support the development, safety, and well-being of infants in a nurturing and engaging environment. This is a full-time position Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for infants, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times Support infants' developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities and play Assist with feeding, diapering, and maintaining hygiene routines in accordance with health standards Foster a warm, welcoming environment that promotes curiosity and learning Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, needs, and daily activities Maintain accurate records of daily activities, developmental observations, and health updates Requirements Prior experience working with infants or in early childhood education settings such as daycare centers or preschools Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques Certification in first aid and CPR (pediatric first aid preferred) Familiarity with mandated reporting laws to ensure compliance with child protection regulations Strong child supervision skills paired with excellent classroom management abilities Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Ability to communicate effectively with parents, children, and team members in a professional manner Join us to help shape the earliest moments of children's lives!
Pay:
