We pride ourselves on our long history of professional educators in our field and a reputation for building strong relationships with our families. An ideal candidate should be comfortable teaching in a Montessori influenced classroom of 3-5-year-olds. This position would begin as a full-time, long-term substitute to cover a leave of absence, and transition to a permanent co-teaching role upon the staff member's return. Responsibilities - Collaborate with teaching team members to: provide inclusive classrooms that accommodate diverse learning, behavioral, and developmental needs create visual schedules and consistent transition cues to help children independently navigate daily routines lead small-group social emotional lessons utilizing role-play, children's literature and age-appropriate "solution kits" engage with families - maintain casual daily touchpoints with parents during drop-off and pick-up windows to share quick, positive highlights and/or behavioral strategies We are seeking a qualified Lead Teacher who meets Wisconsin childcare licensing benchmarks and classroom experience.

$19.50 - $20.50 per hour
